Chamber’s Newest Member and New to Orangevale, The Swenson Law Firm

mrswensonAnnouncing the grand opening of The Swenson Law Firm.  On March 1st, 2013, after years of corporate and insurance litigation practice, Samuel K. Swenson, a resident of Orangevale, opened the doors to his own firm at 8856 Greenback Ln., Suite D.

Mr. Swenson began his career as an in-house litigation attorney for a large consumer insurance company, focusing on motor vehicle defense. While there he tried multiple jury trials as lead counsel and learned to be an aggressive advocate on behalf of his clients. Mr. Swenson then joined Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP, one of the largest law firms in the country. There, his practice focused on general liability defense and product liability. His clients ranged from large Fortune 500 companies to local small business entities with issues ranging from low impact motor vehicle accidents to catastrophic loss of life or destruction of property. In December of 2011, Mr. Swenson joined Randolph Cregger & Chalfant, LLP where his civil litigation practice emphasized railroad liability defense, FELA litigation, public entity defense, commercial creditor claims and enforcement of judgment.

While Mr. Swenson’s specialty is litigation and trial practice, he has a growing general practice serving small businesses as well as individuals in both plaintiff and defendant capacities.

 Mr. Swenson speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese and has a certificate of completion from Cornell Law School in International Business Transactions with Chinese Characteristics. He also earned a concentration certificate in intellectual property while in law school.

He is a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association, the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada, the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel, the Commercial Law League of America and the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.
