50th Annual Pow Wow Days expecting record attendance!
Mark Your calendar! Held this year from Thursday, May 16th, through Sunday, May 19th, Pow Wow Days is a historic, calendar-packed event complete with a parade down Greenback Lane, 2 stages of local and national talent, fun-filled family activities, a craft/vendor fair with over 50 booths, live entertainment, scrumptious food vendors, and a carnival full of rides.
“The Orangevale Chamber of Commerce is very excited about the special activities and big name talent we’ll be announcing very soon for our 50th anniversary event. We are really prepared to knock it out of the park this year with our smashing line up of entertainment and major artists. This is an event families will remember for years to come.” states Orangevale Chamber of Commerce President, Jim Beilgard.
Thursday, May 16th is officially “Opening Night’, and will kick off the four day celebration beginning at three pm with the carnival opening and the crowning of “Miss Orangevale Chamber of Commerce”. Saturday night is “A Country Theme”, featuring and big headliner, and Sunday is “Family Day”, featuring family activites and much, more. Plan to join us!
The Pow Wow Days activities are held locally at The Orangevale Community Park, 7145 Filbert Avenue just south of Oak Avenue behind Green Oaks Elementary School. Admission to the event is FREE! Save $5.00! Unlimited ride wrist bands are available for advance purchase after February 15th at the Chamber office at 9267 Greenback Lane, Suite B-91, Orangevale, your local area schools, and other locations to be announced soon. Advance purchased wristbands are $20.00 ($25.00 at the carnival).
